Job Description

Join the team transforming Revenue Sharing Operations at U.S. Bank. In this role, you will work with cross-functional line of business teams and U.S. Bank Finance teams to refresh and maintain revenue sharing /shadow accounting programs (“Revenue Sharing”) for the Consumer & Business Banking / Payment Services business lines. Revenue Sharing is a critical input into multi-dimensional profitability, as well as compensation for sales team members. Critical to your success is the ability to be an effective and reliable communication liaison between different stakeholder groups to ensure transparency and accountability.


Responsibilities

  • Gain alignment on the Revenue Sharing model updates and underlying approach
  • Gain an understanding of the financial hierarchy, business/product structure, and revenue sharing process
  • Define and build the new Revenue Sharing models for all products/services in scope for the Consumer & Business Banking / Payment Services business lines
  • Gather internal and/or external pricing data for those products where available to use as a proxy
  • Finalize Revenue Sharing scenarios and incorporate into new views of LOB profitability; execute restatement and operationalize
  • Roll-out enhanced Revenue Sharing operation including monthly operations (billing, reporting and scorecard maintenance) for the Consumer & Business Banking / Payment Services business lines.
  • Establish a governance framework over the new Revenue Sharing operation/process including appropriate controls, Revenue Sharing Agreements, process documentation, risk management, review & challenge, etc.
  • Conduct annual review of revenue sharing agreements; update models and documentation as required
  • Modify reporting to align with updated revenue models delivering key insights for product profitability and transparency

This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Three or more years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Three or more years of relevant experience in Financial Services and strong knowledge of business lines, products, operations, and technology
  • Three or more years of experience in Financial Planning
  • Understanding of Revenue Sharing principles, methodology and design
  • Must be a creative problem-solver and a creative problem anticipator who is able to anticipate complex issues and problems and takes proactive steps to prevent them from happening
  • Ability to quickly understand business line needs and objectives and develop effective relationships within a complex organizational structure
  • Strong analytical, organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic, ability to make decisions, and work under tight deadlines
  • Experience with Oracle Financial Applications (Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA), Hyperion/Essbase)
  • Proficiency in Power Bi; advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • BA in Finance or Accounting

Pay Range: $87,465.00 - $102,900.00 - $113,190.00
