We are looking for a Provider Maintenance Clerk in our Repricing and Provider Maintenance Department. The primary role of the Provider Maintenance Clerk is to enter, update and maintain provider, vendor, and network information within the Health Benefits system.


In this position, you will have the ability to work from home. Your work schedule will be 8:00 am - 4:00 pm EST, Mon – Fri.


Job Responsibilities include:

  • Enter, update, and maintain provider, vendor, and network information within the Health Benefits system.
  • Investigate, correct, and resolve provider or network issues routed by Pre-Processing, Claims, Customer Service, or outside vendors.
  • Reprice claims and/or appropriately route claims for repricing.
  • Back-up Pre-Processing as needed.
  • Miscellaneous clerical tasks, duties and projects as needed.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service and production driven environment
  • Flexible; open to change
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work effectively with team members, associates, members, and providers
  • Ability to learn new/proprietary systems, to adapt to various system platforms, and to effectively use MS Word/Excel
  • Previous provider billing experience is a plus
  • Must be able to work a 37.5 hr. work week with between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm EST Mon-Fri.

The compensation range for this full-time Provider Maintenance position is between $15.00/hr. and $22.59/hr. The salary offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan.
