ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the planning, development and execution of all marketing promotions, special events, entertainment, social media, AV production and open tournaments.
  • Develop and construct details for special events, promotions, social media and entertainment initiatives.
  • Orders and processes all related marketing purchases via the SWS system.
  • Assist with the preparation and execution for all promotions, events and marketing programs.
  • Create strong patron relationships and uphold excellent customer service.
  • Handle task delegation, problem solving and customer discrepancies.
  • Assist with the development of marketing ideas and strategies that contribute to the marketing events calendar.
  • Write, edit and prepare gaming submissions for Indiana Gaming Commission approval.
  • Compile, mine, process, and interpret and present data in a thorough and precise manner.
  • Use independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance whether involved with management or general business operations.
  • Manage financial duties within marketing department, gaming operations and patron giveaways, such as awarding cash prizes, free play, automobiles and all other gaming related prizes.
  • Formulate event, promotions and entertainment and on-site execution
  • Assist with all pre, post and on-site event, promotions & entertainment logistics (i.e.: vendor coordination, crowd management, set-up, staff organization decoration, tear down, internal and external communication and run of show outlines)
  • Maintain a healthy work schedule in correlation with the marketing events calendar in addition to administrative responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
  • Familiar with essential computer programs and software.

QUALIFICATIONS

One (1) year experience in similar positions; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. SOCIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Must have an outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude. Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Marketing from four-year College or university. Three to five year's marketing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Accuracy, detail orientation and creative skills needed with the ability to analyze data and make recommendations

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must be able to obtain a Gaming Commission License.
