Job Description

Busy Southbay shop looking for experienced, self motivated plumber who can trouble shoot and problem solve on their own. Hand tools and truck required.

Our ideal candidate is punctual, reliable and arrives at the jobsite in a presentable manner.

Responsibilities:

• Have good communication with Foreman and other workers, follow instructions, perform tasks independently without training or supervision
• Cut, assemble and install piping systems with attention to existing infrastructure
• Install and maintain water supply systems (copper, pex)
• Locate and repair issues with water, drainage and gas lines (pinhole leaks, gas leaks etc)
• Clear minor clogged drains.
• Repair domestic appliances (e.g. water heaters) and fixtures (e.g. sinks) etc.
• Install, repair and maintain gas lines (galvanized pipe, Trac pipe, etc)
• Install sanitary systems (ABS, Cast Iron)

Requirements & Skills:

• Minimum 2 Years of Proven experience as a plumber
• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential settings
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc. )
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly with a great deal of patience
• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
• Trade school diploma or successful completion of apprenticeship is not required but is a plus
• Valid driver license
• Reliable daily transportation
• Clean personal record
• Availability to work full time + Availability to work overtime (nights / weekends) is not required but is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
