Must be able to see patients at our MediSpa & Wellness Center

Must have Florida Medical License

Must have completed the Florida 2 hour medical marijuana course

My Doctors ReLeaf Wellness Center is dedicated to helping patients achieve the best quality of life for them through alternative pathways. We are looking for a physician to evaluate new and renewing patients for medical cannabis certification. Our Wellness Center is staffed with an administrative team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Be an advocate for patients seeking to use medical marijuana as part of their treatment plan
• Conduct routine consultations and check-ups to patients to assess their health condition and determine if medical marijuana is a viable fit for them
• Give appropriate advice for healthy habits and preventative actions to promote overall health
• Prescribe medical marijuana and/or low THC and provide comprehensive instructions for administration
• Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients
• Collaborate with compliance to ensure the Wellness Center is compliant with federal rules, regulations, and codes
  
• Ensure timely completion and signing of medical records

Education and Experience:

• MD/DO license to practice in Florida
  
• Completion of Florida 2-hour medical marijuana course for Physicians
• Ability to utilize technology, specifically in-house EMR system
  
• Significant knowledge in medical marijuana, diseases and medical conditions

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Strong computer and electronic record skills
  
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
