Central Carolina Hospital, along with Duke LifePoint are seeking a passionate Pharmacist to join our team. With more than 120 physicians and more than 500 employees, the hospital offers a wide range of specialties. Central Carolina Hospital is nestled in the heart of central North Carolina and is located only 40 minutes southwest of Raleigh, the state capital, and just 40 minutes from the gates of Fort Bragg Military base. As a Pharmacist at Central Carolina Hospital, you will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to CCH patients, including drug information, therapeutic drug monitoring and pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dose adjustment, therapeutic interchange, IV to PO conversion, and patient education / counseling. This position will also serve as a subject matter expert for the healthcare team regarding drug therapy, advocates for safe medication use, and aligns prescribing, dispensing, administration, and monitoring functions with established policies and procedures for safe practice.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree, required
Doctoral degree, preferred
Experience in hospital or similar Pharmacy setting preferred. Ability to communicate clearly in written and oral forms required.
