Position Summary:
Group employs Nurse Practitioners on a full-time basis to render professional medical services to Group's patients under a Physician’s supervision. Nurse Practitioners accept such employment with Group.
Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics which align with UHS acute care facilities. It also provides select services for the Behavioral Health division of UHS. Through continuing growth, IPM operates in 11 markets across six states and the District of Columbia. Qualifications:
Nurse Practitioners shall provide professional medical services under a Physician’s supervision in the Specialty to Group's patients at clinic offices as Group assigns from time to time, and such other locations as Group directs from time to time (collectively, the "Offices") and South Texas Health System facilities, and such other hospital as Group directs from time to time (collectively, the "Hospitals") (the Offices and Hospitals are collectively, the "Facilities"). Nurse Practitioners shall devote his/her full professional time, skill and attention to the performance of his/her duties. As a full-time employee, Nurse Practitioners are expected to work at least forty (40) hours per week in the performance of the duties (excluding call coverage).
