Qualifications:

• Required Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
• 5+ years minimum experience in Network Engineering
• Associates Degree in Engineering or 2 years additional work experience
• DOD 8570 IAT LVL II Required
• CCNA or equivalent associate level certification required
• Experience with SD-WAN, VOIP, Security support a plus
• Experience with network and security automation preferred.
• Other industry product experience and certifications preferred.

World Wide Technology, LLC has an opportunity available for a Network Engineer to support our Government Services team located in Columbia, MD. This position will focus on Engineering and support within a customers environment.

Requirements:

• Technical expertise in Routing and Switching is required
• Knowledge of designing complex Routing and Switching networks
• Ability to troubleshoot large enterprise networks
• Perform site surveys of customer environment for new installations and upgrades
• Ability to explain technical concepts, give clients guidance and vision about the solution
• Experience with network topology modeling analysis
• Experience with development of build of materials lists, obtaining quotes, and producing technology refresh plans
• Ability to work independently, self-starter required
• Operate WAN testing and network simulation equipment
• Experience working with network security devices (IPS/IDS, Firewalls, VPN, NAT) and Encryption devices
• Experience working with change control and developing procedures for changes within a complex environment
• Ability to develop a technical refresh plan for tracking End of support/life equipment
• In-depth experience with network topology modeling and analysis
• Proven experience with security updates and recommendations
