Responsibilities

• Manicures & pedicures (cut, file, shape, polish, repair fingernails & toenails, remove polish, hand & foot massage)
• Removal of gel polish & acrylics without the use of drills
• Keep up to date on styles - recommend designs, colors, embellishments and customize per customer’s preferences/request
• Prepare and clean stations in-between appointments
• Sterilize equipment before use
• Inform clients about additional services and offers (e.g. memberships, discounts, special events)
• Apply GEL-X extensions by Apres
• Educate clients on retail products and ways to improve hand and foot health in-between services
• Kid’s manicures & pedicures
• Host bridal & bday parties/celebrations
• Recommend treatment add-ons and retail products, when appropriate
• Be a team member through helpful actions and positive attitude
• Work within established service times and protocols
• Take an interest in customers (e.g. chatting with them during appointments and remembering their preferences)
• Educating guests on complete range of services and retail products

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Nail Technician, Manicurist or similar role
• Expertise in basic and advanced nail techniques, including french manicures, airwork, gel extensions, silk wraps and gel manicures
• Stay up to date on nail trends and product education
• Understand sanitation and sterilization standards
• Experience in customer service and value why it is important and unique at Frenchies
• High school diploma
• Licensed Nail technician or cosmetologist in CA

Job Types: Full-time, Part-timeSalary: From $15.00 to $18.00 per hour base wage depending on experienceBenefits:

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Team Based Performance Bonuses Monthly
• Tips in the range of $1,000 - 1,500 per month for full time employment
