Job Description

We are currently seeking a Landscape Maintenance Supervisor to join our crew as we continue to grow. Our goal is to create and maintain beautiful landscapes for all of our clients while remaining safe, organized and efficient. We are looking for someone who has experience in this line of work, but are more than willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery such as lawnmowers, weed whacking, chemical sprayers, blowers to perform duties such as : mowing, weeding, edging, blowing, pruning
• Maintain lawns and agricultural areas to company standards
• Maintain grounds to keep free of bugs, weeds, dry/dead matter
• Use commercial grade fertilizers and pesticides in a safe manner
• Follow procedures to maintain safe work environments according to OSHA standards
• Communicate effectively with other crew members and direct them towards goals
• Ensure work is being completed in a timely manner to company standards
• Be reliable and responsible
• Keep houses, sidewalks, roadways and lawns clean during and after maintenance
• Maintain a valid drivers license
• Report unsafe conditions or other problems to supervisors immediately

Keep truck, trailer and other equipment clean

Physical Demands:

• Be able to lift and carry up to 60lbs
• Push/pull heavy equipment such as lawnmowers
• Must be able to frequently walk uneven terrain, bend, kneel, crouch
• Be able to work in the sun

Skills:

• Be able to compute simple mathematical equations
• Have knowledge of driving truck and trailer (Preferred)
• Have knowledge of irrigation controllers (Preferred)
• Experience working on a Landscape Maintenance crew (6+ months preferred)

Education:

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent
• CPR and First Aid Training (preferred)

Pay:

$26-$30/hr depending on experience and availability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
