Junior Buyer

Responsibilities

• Review and process daily purchase requisitions with a focus on providing consistent internal customer service; provide timely response to requests; assist requesting parties with researched information and alternatives, as required.
• Partner with approved suppliers; develop relationships to support the procurement process
• Report and track supplier benchmark evaluation measures and processes for services and supplies
• Work to support processes in coordination with all departments

Qualifications

• At least two years of procurement experience in an industrial environment
• Demonstrate knowledge of procurement and supply chain principles
• Demonstrated ability to use supply chain concepts, terms, practices and procedures
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Software Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• High-level knowledge of Oracle systems preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment

Location: Albany, OR

Pay: $22-$25 DOE

Schedule: Full Time Mon-Fri
