As a Junior Associate with the Mahoney Tax Solutions Team, you will support a variety of accounting functions for clients, including:

• Preparing business, trust and individual income tax returns
• Strengthening tax technical skills with the guidance of managers and partners
• Preparing income tax projections for business and individual tax clients
• Developing client relationship skills under the guidance of managers and partners
• Preparing extensions for business and individual tax returns
• Monitoring status of individual client tax support via electronic tax organizers

Seasonal overtime may apply depending on arranged work schedule.

Educational and Skill Set Requirements:

• 2-year degree in Accounting, Finance or Related Field and/or 1-2 years accounting experience
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Team player with a positive – “can do” approach
  Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels and various clientele
• Working knowledge of Excel and Word
• Prior tax preparation is a plus, but not required
• Sharp attention to detail and an eye for completeness

Base pay range of $60,000 to $65,000 per year.
