EAG Laboratories is looking for a summer intern for our SIMS group in Sunnyvale CA! If you are an undergraduate student majoring in Math, Physics, Chemistry or Materials Science, and/or a Junior in High School with learned courses in these subjects, this could be the internship for you!

This intern will work one-on-one with current sample preparation technician(s) to learn all aspects of preparing samples for analysis, including database usage and correlation of client and analyst requests with the needed physical results.

Additionally, this intern will receive general education in Dynamic SIMS and have exposure/practice with filling liquid N2.

Tentative Start Date: 6.12.23 Tentative End Date 08.11.23.

• Student pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Math, Physics, Chemistry or Materials Science
• High School Junior with learned courses of Math, Physics, Chemistry and Materials Science
• Preferred background in semiconductor materials and material analysis
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent professional, verbal, and written communication skills
• Eagerness and willingness to learn
• Ability to work 20-40 hours per week
• Ability to work on site in laboratory
