Senior Interior Designer
We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer with 3-5 years experience in residential design to join our team. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with an eye for meticulous execution.

The individual in this role will work directly with the Chief Designer, Project Manager and report to Chief Designer.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Project site surveying and documentation of existing site conditions
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of construction drawing sets
  • Utilize Sketchup, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suites and 3D Software to create drawings, renderings, etc.
  • Update server files to communicate to Site Team
  • Source and procure architectural samples from various vendors and subcontractors
  • Manage creation of client presentations in Adobe InDesign to communicate concepts, design intent and drawings
  • Attend site meetings with team and/or clients
  • Source materials to present to Chief Designer including stone, tile, wallcovering, paint, plumbing fixtures, door hardware, lighting, appliances, furniture and soft goods
  • Maintain project meetings with Chief Designer to review project status and associated design reviews
  • Source and seek new products and materials that represent our brand to keep our sources fresh and unique
  • Participate in company improvement initiatives and contributes new ideas, technologies or procedures to help our team and company grow and discover more efficient methods

Preferred Qualifications:

To be considered for this position you will possess the following skills, attributes, and abilities:

  • 3-5 years experience at an Interior Design Firm or related experience
  • 4 Year Degree at an accredited interior design or architectural program
  • Understanding of technical architecture and ability to draw, coordinate and execute a full drawing set including:
  • Demolition, Floor, Floor Finish, Reflected Ceiling, Electrical Plans
  • Detailed Interior Elevations
  • Construction Details for flooring, walls cabinetry and ceiling details
  • Proficient in SketchUp/AutoCAD
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Willingness to learn and be open for constructive feedback
