Motor City Hockey is looking for a passionate hockey trainer to join our team. The position will formally begin in September 2023 but we will conduct on the job training the month of August and possibly July.
We are looking for a candidate to be available for the following sessions: Monday 5-7PM DSC, Wednesday 6:30PM-8PM Birmingham, Thursday 5-7PM DSC, Saturday AM DSC or Birmingham, Sunday AM DSC or Birmingham and Sunday evening 4-8PM DSC.
Skill Level: we are looking for a qualified trainer that can work with the follow skill levels: Advanced Travel, house hockey teams 6U - 10U and Learn to Play Hockey. Candidate must be excellent with kids and have highly effective communication skills.
Motor City Hockey is an industry leader with high expectations of our employees and players. We are looking for someone to come in that is energetic and passionate about coaching players and being a mentor / positive role model.
All candidates must submit a formal resume with an extensive hockey background to be considered for the position. Candidate must be local to Detroit Skating Club in Bloomfield Twp and Birmingham Ice Arena.
Pay is hourly. If hired you will be a 1099 employee.
