WORKING CONDITIONS
Work may require evening, early morning, and week end schedules. Must be able to bend and kneel through out assigned shift. Must be able to occasionally reach above head in performing job duties. Specialized Work Experience
1. Removes dirty linen from beds in guest room and remakes with fresh clean linens.
2. Cleans and sanitizes all areas of the bathroom.
3. Cleans all surfaces, including window sills, by wet dusting and/or polishing.
4. Vacuums and mops floors daily.
5. Empties trash and ensures that trash receptacles are clean.
6. Disinfects telephone speaker and receiver.
7. Maintains records of rooms clean throughout the shift. Informs Status Board Operator or Assistant Housekeeper of any problems or unusual circumstances.
8. Assists hotel guests with housekeeping-related requests. Immediately contacts supervisor if unable to assist.
9. Other duties as assigned.
