HOST must abide by new Covid-19 Rules
We count on our Host / Hostess / Greeter for a number of duties.
Friday - Saturday 5PM - 10PM
The Host / Hostess / Greeter is responsible for cheerfully greeting the guests, escorting them to their table, providing them with a menu, and answering any preliminary questions.
- Manage the customer experience.
- Keep the dining room clean/bus some tables
- Reservations and Walk-in lists – YELP reservations
- Follow company policies and applicable laws.
- Monitor table rotations.
- Keep track of prepared tables for new guests.
- Answer the phone, taking reservations, and in some cases managing take-out orders.
Follow new restrictions on Covid-19 seating that change daily.

Set schedule: Friday & Saturday evenings from 5PM - 10PM max
Restaurant Host / Hostess / Greeter is generally offered as a part time restaurant job.
Prior experience as host, hostess, greeter, maitr' d, matradee, maitres d, or other part time restaurant job highly desirable.
Requirements/Responsibilities
- Some experience is preferred, but we will train the right person
- Must dress in a professional manner that is appropriate for Cubanitas
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Spanish speaking a plus
- Basic computer skills required; familiarity with scheduling software and YELP RESERVATION is a plus.
- A warm and outgoing personality with a passion for food and customer service
- Must have a commitment to deliver a unique and memorable guest experience
- Punctual, patient, and mindful
