As a Hardscape Leader of Project Construction at Design Works, you will play the valuable role of creating outdoor spaces for homeowners to enjoy. The projects you work on will always be interesting. See our portfolio at www.4designworks.com

In this position, the Team Leader will be working in the field with the crew to install professionally designed hardscapes by a landscape architect (patios, outdoor kitchens, fire pit and fire places, retaining walls, steps, etc.). The leader will be responsible for managing people, materials and equipment. This is a full-time position all year.

• 3 years of hardscape or landscaping experience
• ICPI Certification a plus
• Truly knows grading, drainage, measurements, reading and translating plans. Proficiency in construction methods.
• Easy to communicate with. Good to coworkers, managers, and clients.
• Minor equipment operation.
• Dependable, hard working, and keeps things moving.
• Loves to work outdoors and enjoys physical work.
• Focused on quality, efficiency and safety.
• Experience in leading/management of yourself and others in performance of this work
• Likes to be informed about how the business and team are doing. Can work with the team to achieve team profit goals.
• Meets driver requirements (valid license, no violations, motor vehicle report)
• Takes safety and a drug-free workplace seriously
• Can lift 70lbs continuously
• Willing to operate and participate in snow removal in the winter, work unpredictable shifts during snow events, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
