Pay: $23.10 per hour

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Agent in the San Francisco Airport.

The Foreign Object Debris Agent will ensure that all assigned areas are cleaned and sanitized according to departmental procedures. This position will require working outdoors on the ramps.

The associate must wear all provided and necessary PPE in accordance with the position and OSHA requirements.

Essential Functions

• Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
• Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
• Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
• Cleaners must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

Responsibilities

• Foreign Object Debris (FOD) at airports includes any object found in an inappropriate location that, as a result of being in that location, can damage equipment or injure personnel. FOD includes a wide range of materials, including loose hardware, pavement fragments, catering supplies, building materials, rocks, sand, pieces of luggage, and even wildlife. FOD is found at terminal gates, cargo aprons, taxiways, runways, and run-up pads.
• Requisitions of supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
• Drives vehicles to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have State Drivers License.
• Effectively communicate in English
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer Service Experience
• 1 yr of similar work experience
