We are seeking a Financial Coordinator to join our team.

Position Summary:

The Financial Coordinator promotes the overall operation of the front office. Facilitates the patient’s care by closing treatment, appointment scheduling, financial counseling, and maintenance of the patient’s chart. He/she is knowledgeable of insurance plans and their filing requirements and is proficient at collecting patient co-payments and payments for services not covered by insurance. Tasks include but are not limited to:

• Positively impacts patients, referring offices and coworkers
• Patient Check Out: Closes cases (schedules / collects), issues charges and collect co-payments, formulates treatment plans and reviews them with the patient, schedules surgeries
• Telephone: answers the phone in a warm and professional manner, routes calls to staff member or takes messages and delivers to staff members.
• Scheduling: Schedules consultation, surgical, follow-up, surgical, and post-op appointments. Insures patients are informed and prepared (x-rays, financial obligations, etc.) for the consultation.
• End of day close: Balances, prints reports, and prepares deposit, and stores documents (credit card receipts, etc.). Ensures all patients seen have charges posted to their accounts. Reviews schedule, documents no-shows in patient ledger / alert, contacts patients to reschedule (as needed). Prints and mails insurance claims, pre-treatment estimates, and correspondence to referring doctors.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
