Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Ecommerce Product Photographer to join our dynamic and innovative team in San Francisco. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge in studio lighting, composition, and editing techniques, along with excellent communication and self-management skills. As the Staff Ecommerce Product Photographer, you will be responsible for maintaining our photography style guides, producing high-quality product photography and video, and collaborating with the creative team to identify new ways to shoot photography that will create agility and flexibility in the monthly pipeline of asset needs.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of studio lighting, composition, and editing techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other teams and interpret directives.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously and managing priorities.
  • Comfortable working autonomously to build systems and improve processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in the San Francisco office where the equipment is located.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain photography style guides, accurately complete shot lists, file naming, processing, slight retouching, and organizing digital files.
  • Maintain consistently high standards for accuracy, aesthetics, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to identify new ways to shoot photography that will create agility and flexibility in the monthly pipeline of asset needs.
  • Produce the highest quality photography and video for all product categories and uses.
  • Understand the needs of each marketing vehicle and “best practices” to develop creative that will have the greatest impact on our customers.
