This is a professional and technical position. Incumbent should be responsible in performing technical and systems administrative functions in development and maintenance of distributed computers systems, printers, other components, and, network systems (Local Area Network and Wide Area Network) within the Department of Health. Customer Support and Service Provides and maintains a high quality of customer and user support, assistance, and, service. Responds to customers in a timely manner, troubleshoot, repair, provide answers to queries and requests submitted by customers through the Office of Information Technology’s Customer Service Center. All calls and request are to be logged in the OIT ticketing system for resolution. Distributed Computer Systems, Servers, Shared Resources, Networking Devices, and, Local Area Network (LAN) Provides remote and on-site assistance solutions, ranging from hardware, software, network to other related components (including enhancements, replacements, and, upgrades) in order to maintain a productive environment within the DOH Infrastructure. Monitors systems performance and reliability. Team Work and Performance Establishes methods, procedures, documentations relating to troubleshooting techniques, maintenance steps, user’s computer standard operating procedures, best practices. Suggests improvement to existing processes. Other Initiatives Participates in inter-bureaus, inter-division, and inter-agency initiatives. Uses various methods to regularly update one’s skills to the required skill set to start, maintain, and complete a project assigned by the supervisor or designee. Others Performs other duties assigned by the supervisor or designee, as well as, other duties assigned by the senior management of the division.
