DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (These are the essential job functions for this position. The essential functions of this job include, but may not be limited to those listed in this job description. Employees hired for this position must be able to perform the essential function of this job without imposing significant risk of substantial harm to the health or safety of themselves or others):

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation

• Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation

• Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation

• Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures

• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards

• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards

• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards

• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces

• Removes trash and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans

• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas

• Helps load and unload supplies and products

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Frequent walking and standing for long periods of time

• Ability to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly

• Occasionally access high storage shelving with the use of step ladder

• Ability to pull, push, lift and carry up to 50 lbs

• Perform repetitive tasks

Other Qualifications

• Most recent positions must be stewarding, dishwasher, kitchen sanitization or similar
• Experience in overnight shift preferred
• Self-driven, initiative and ability to work under minimum supervision
• Ability to work in a high-pace, changing environment
• Ability to stand up for long periods of time

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $19.50 per hour
