ROLE OVERVIEW

The Dishwasher is responsible for taking care of all dishware by operating the dish machine, hand washing specific items, and ensuring all pots & pans are clean for the kitchen staff. Dishwashers need to maintain the highest of cleanliness standards required by company standards. It is a requirement to be proactive and driven to enable the kitchen to run smoothly and efficiently.

KEY TASKS

Restaurant Operations

Responsible for adhering to all Food Safety requirements including applicable laws.

Maintains cleanliness of the dishwashing station, kitchen and all back of house areas.

Ensures all dishware is clean and ready for restaurant service.

Provides superior guest service through fast, efficient, accurate, and sanitization production all completed to company standards.

Follows standards to for dishwashing to ensure cleanliness including sanitization of dishwasher.

Have the ability to work in a fast paced and moderate to extremely noisy area.

Adheres to safety and sanitation procedures.

Completes assigned side-work to ensure shift readiness.

Communication

Speak with others using clear and professional language.

Effectively listen and respond timely to guest needs.

Actively listen to others, ask questions to verify understanding, and use tact and consideration when delivering feedback to others.

Additional Responsibilities

Ability to site to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.

Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.

Ability to reach overhead and below knees including but not limited to bending, twisting, pulling and stooping.

Have the flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Any other reasonable request/duty made by your Supervisor

KEY EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

Must be 16 years of age or older

RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS

Previous Dishwasher experience preferred.

SYSTEMS KNOWLEDGE

Systems Knowledge of Aloha, not required but preferred.

Systems Knowledge of Hot Schedules, not required but preferred.
