Accura HealthCare of Ames, an 80-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) located in Ames, IA, is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team. Dietary Aides are highly valued employees who bring a friendly demeanor to the daily lives of our residents.
CURRENT NEEDS: Full-Time or Part Time; schedules include rotating weekend shifts
Job Summary: Dietary Aides assist with the preparation and serving of thoughtfully presented meals to our residents. You will work as part of a team to maintain proper sanitation protocols, follow guidelines of resident meal plans, all while communicating positively with team members and residents.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand directions.
- Able to interact professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, residents’ families, and employees.
- Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
