As the Delivery Driver your Duties will be:

Delivery drivers have a variety of duties in addition to driving their routes and making their deliveries.

• You must have a valid driver’s license
• Following the best practices & hospital policies for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
• Communicating with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to make deliveries
• Meeting patient meal delivery deadlines
• Communicating basic truck maintenance needs
• Loading and unloading patient supplies and meals
• Tracking shipments and deliveries
• Obtaining client or customer signatures when needed

• 
  Ability to lift 75+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently & 15+ pounds consistently. Bend / stoop/ twist / push & pull, climb regularly & stand 8-12 hours a day
• Previous shipping & receiving management desired
• Knowledge of hand fork lifts & stackers needed – certification preferred
• Must be able to follow instructions
• Ability to interpret inventory sheets, invoices & all other related materials
• Must be able to work professionally & effective under time constraints / pressure
• Must always follow safe work practices & company policies
• Must always follow specified audit guidelines as well as adhere to all city, county, state & federal regulations
• Must be team orientated
• Strong analytical & organizational skills
• Must have a flexible schedule
• Must have positive work ethics & habits
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures as required

Hourly Wage: $18.00 an hour
