Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to clean and transform data to make it usable for analysis. This role requires an analytical thinker who can determine how to extract accurate information from messy data sets. Growth opportunities include language modeling, business analytics, and more.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and rectify errors in documents that could compromise the quality of the analytical results
  • Develop data cleaning scripts using SQL and other programming languages to cleanse data
  • Validate and verify data quality, consistency, and accuracy
  • Contribute to the development of data quality standards and guidelines
  • Implement data cleansing techniques to process large batches of data efficiently
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • Experience with data management, cleaning, and validation
  • Fundamental programming skills, especially SQL and data processing techniques in other programming languages such as Python or R
  • Knowledge of data modeling, database design, and SQL database management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet the required deadlines
