Cyber Analyst

Huntsville, AL

Candidate will analyze cyber data and system logs to identify weakness in cyber readiness.

Candidate will document and work with Cyber Engineers on deficiencies.

Candidate will data mine logs to look for immediate changes in systems cyber posture and identify for remediation.

Candidate should have a working knowledge of SEIM systems and Splunk operations, capable of reading log files, ingesting them into log readers like Vulnerator and Security Center, generate reports and products for a host of customers.

Candidate will assist package owners and readiness teammates with data interpretation, data smoothing and log archiving to update a Cyber Readiness Dashboard.

Assist the ACAS Scan analysis team with data interpretation and building custom reports for ISSM and Operations.

Candidate will translate log data from test and integration events to understand system behavior and assist with issue identification and recommend remediation's as needed.

Candidate is required to have a current CYSA certification.

A background in logs and SEIM systems understanding, OSSEC and HIDS reporting, and a Security + is desirable.

Candidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.

This is a full-time position, located in Huntsville, AL.
