This is a full time position.

Duties

The Compliance Contract Administrator is responsible for providing contract-related oversight by serving as an organizational resource for content and processing of contracts and amendments and administrator of the contract management system. Provides content review, assists staff with issues and problems, tracks the process, and ensures completion of each contract in a timely, accurate manner. Support Wilder staff in responding to legal requests for information, including review and guidance related to legal processes, such as subpoenas, and other legal and/or regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain sensitivity to employee diversity in the workplace. Behave in ways that demonstrate respectful treatment of other employees and clients. Develop cultural competence related to the services provided.

Contract Administration (65%) – Serve as point of contact for Wilder foundation contract requirements, which may include:

  • Assist with contract templates, challenging negotiations, provide technical expertise, review and drafting of language and engage with outside counsel on behalf of Wilder.
  • Review and approve draft contracts. Verify that all required aspects of the contract are completed and accurate according to specifications and to contract requirements.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with contract requirements
  • Educate authorized signer(s) on conditions/terms of a contract, associated risk and strategic/mission alignment.
  • Serve as administrator and primary point of contact for the enterprise-wide contract management system.
  • Provide contract management software training to users.


Compliance Tasks (35%) – Assist Director of Compliance in tasks such as:

  • Organizational activities
  • Audits or other broad organization-wide efforts
  • Review and response to subpoenas and other legal documents
  • Policy and procedure review/revision
  • Prepare and conduct training sessions related to contracts, compliance, privacy, or other legal related topics
  • Other Compliance related tasks

The Compliance Contract Administrator may also:

  • Serve on committees as assigned
  • Assist with projects as assigned
  • Handle all matters with sensitivity and maintain strict confidentiality of all work material and activities
  • Interface directly with Wilder employees and serve as a resource for contract and legal questions

Job Qualifications

  • Legal or Paralegal experience strongly preferred.
  • High school degree with 4-6 years of procurement and/or administration of contracts, grants, loans, or similar agreements, or
  • Associate degree with 4 years of procurement and/or administration of contracts, grants, loans, or similar agreements, or
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of procurement and/or administration of contracts, grants, loans, or similar agreements.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement research methods, techniques, information sourcing and/or sources of information.
