Dynetics Technical Solutions (DTS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynetics, is seeking talented CNC 3 Axis Machinist to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The CNC 3 Axis Machinist must be capable of reading engineering drawings and CAD models to produce unique precision parts. Ideal candidate should also have experience in programming, setup, and operation of a variety of machine tools including CNC Mills. Experience in the manufacturing of large aerospace components. 5-axis experience is a plus. Applicant must be able to work on different projects in an ever changing, rapid paced R&D environment with little or no assistance.

Basic Qualifications

Candidates must possess a High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience with at least five (5) years of machine tool technology and/or credentials verifying formal training in machining technology experience in lieu of experience an associate’s degree.

Candidate must be able to work 1st shift with work hours from 6:00am-4:30pm.

Candidate must be able to work a 4-days per week, 10-hours per shift work schedule (4/10 Plan).

Candidate must be able to work overtime when required.

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, ALarea

Other Qualifications

Preference shown to candidates who have experience and/or working knowledge of:

• 5 axis machining experience
• (1) two years of 2D & 3D experience with a CAMsoftware tool
• SURFCAM experience
• Experience machining in a prototype/developmental environment

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
