OVERVIEW:

MPower Wellness Center is a premiere addiction treatment and Wellness Clinic dedicated to the treatment of

addiction, substance abuse, and mental health concerns. Our team delivers effective treatment from our highly

qualified addiction treatment specialists. We take a caring and professional approach to assist clients in treating

their alcoholism, substance addiction and behavioral health needs. We work to provide a continuum of care that

leads our clients on a journey of long term, sustainable recovery. MPower Wellness Center is founded on the

principle of destigmatizing mental health. The mental health and Substance Abuse industry is full of barriers, and

we’ve made it our goal to fill the gap and find innovative ways to break down these barriers for the communities

we serve.

JOB SUMMARY:

As an Outpatient Substance Abuse/Mental Health Clinician at MPower Wellness Center, you'll share our vision for

improving and expanding access to quality mental health care and thrive in an environment driven by our core

CLINICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION: Schedule & Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00a - 4:00p

 Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing

documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company

policy

 Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission

of filling gaps in our community

 Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol

 For Full-Time status clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week

 Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other MPower

Wellness Center staff, as well as community resources as needed

 Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings

 Effective written and verbal communication skills

 Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients

 Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner

 Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base

 Proficient in the use of Office Word and Electronic Health Record systems (Best Notes experience a plus!)

 Give assessment, diagnosis and treatment to patients and their families

 Lead ongoing patient engagement for improved adherence to treatment plans and patient satisfaction

 Facilitates patient centered meetings with patients’ clinical and natural supports

 Connects with external service providers to obtain clinically necessary services for patients

 You will complete a comprehensive discharge plan for patients

 Report directly to the Clinical Director

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree or higher, associate degree with 5 years’ experience working

in the sector of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and on track to

obtain licensure in their designated field bachelor’s degree or higher.

 Current associate or independent level 1 Fingerprint clearance with Arizona Board of Behavioral Health

Examiners or able to obtain Fingerprint clearance within 90 days

 Required 5 years’ experience in the discipline of counseling, social work, and/or marriage and family

counseling

 Participate in monthly Clinical Supervision under the directions of management an effective clinical

service team. The Clinical Supervision team will use applicable principles of Social Work and/or

Counseling which include - patient psychosocial assessment, group and individual psychotherapy, family

intervention, patient/family education and treatment planning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
