Qualifications for Skilled Heavy Timber Framing Carpenter:
- 2-4 or more years of wood framing and finish carpentry experience on both residential and historical projects.
- Possess your own hand tools (hammer, speed square, pencil, carpenters pouches etc.)
- Ability to work closely with the roofing crew and project coordinator.
- Ability to assist lead crew members with the framing of windows and doors.
- Be able to measure, cut, and correctly fasten wood structures per project specs.
- Shape or cut materials, using hand tools, machines, or power saw.
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials.
- Build or repair doors, frameworks using woodworking machines, carpenter's hand tools and power tools.
- Able to perform all steep slope roofing activities, (set and climb ladders, carry 50 lbs, etc...)
- Have excellent communication and outstanding customer service skills.
- Multitasked.
- Technical competency.
- Familiar and able to use basic email, Word and Excel Documents
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Clean, Valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass nationwide background check, drug test and physical.
- Able to work 10-12 hour days, year round.
- Travel is a must

Compensation:
- Hourly plus Commissions at Competitive Rates based upon Experience
