Grand Industrial is looking to hire a Carpenter to fill a recent opening. We have been in business for 15+yrs and have never experienced a lay-off. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Read a tape measure and level
• Set up a laser and use it
• Read blueprints and understand layout procedure
• Use a framing square
• Have the right hand tools and nail bags
• Know how to square up a right angle and have knowledge of geometry
• Work with metal or wood
• Work with proper scaffold erection
• Plan ahead to use time effectively and avoid down time
• Install wooden, metal, FRP, stainless steel, roll-up, sliding,and freezer doors
• Install drop ceilings, drywall, and vinyl cove base
• Use several types of fork lifts, both inside buildings and off-road
• User scissor lift and boom lift
• Cannot be afraid of heights

You should be proficient in:

• Blueprint Reading

Salary info:

$20 - $25 / hr
