Pay Rate: $18.60 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

• Provide construction maintenance support for the company.
• With instruction/ direction, assist higher level carpenters in performing construction maintenance work as follows:
• Help with setting up and pouring concrete
• Help with any/all required carpentry work
• Help with the use of construction equipment such as front loaders, forklifts, trenchers, man lifts, etc. when necessary.
• General cleaning and /or assisting other crews if required.
• Maintaining safety, housekeeping and sanitation and disease control requirements while performing job duties.

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of training and/or experience which has provided a basic working knowledge of carpentry and construction practices to include the following:
  • Use of basic hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, tape measure, etc.
  • Use of power tools such as a skill saw, drill motor, Power Mitre, table saw, mail and staple gun, etc.
• Must be able to work in remote company locations/ ranches or projects.
• Must have good interpersonal and English communication skills.
• Must be able to complete work in a timely and efficient manner.
• Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
• Must have the ability to work shifts longer than 8 hours.
• Must be able to show up to work daily as scheduled and be on time to perform duties of the position.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions which include extreme cold, wet and hot weather.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work form a ladder.
• Must have and maintain California drivers license and acceptable DMV record.
