Our client, Roberts Printing - in Clearwater, Florida, is seeking a resourceful Business Development Specialist to help expand the business and improve branding initiatives. Are you the one?


THIS IS A
HYBRID ROLE. The first 1-90 days will be in-office only, but then this person will have 2-3 remote days per week.

About the ideal candidate:

To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate experience in business development strategies and marketing. We are looking for an ambitious marketing specialist to be responsible for developing and managing all aspects of our marketing strategy. You will focus on creating, implementing, tracking, and optimizing our digital and traditional marketing campaigns across various marketing channels.


To be successful as our business development/marketing specialist, you must be highly self-motivated, proactive, and have a working knowledge of current marketing tools and strategies to execute successful marketing campaigns.


Business Development Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating and improving sales, marketing, and branding strategies.
  • Monitoring revenue streams and identifying opportunities to increase profitability.
  • Developing and implementing marketing plans.
  • Conducting market research to establish customer trends and habits. Identifying and developing new lines of business based on client behavior.
  • Performing competitor analysis toward obtaining an increased market share.
  • Consulting with Management to align strategies aimed at increasing revenue.
  • Establishing goals and objectives to reach our customers through appropriate marketing channels (digital and traditional).
  • Promoting brand awareness through marketing efforts.
  • Creating marketing materials for our website and other marketing platforms.
  • Supporting the sales team with marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas, including optimization, advertising, social media, direct marketing, and event planning.
  • Assisting with the analyses of marketing data, including campaign results, conversion rates, and online traffic to improve future marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Using Net Promoter Score to measure help measure our success.
  • Performing other duties when needed.

Business Development Specialist Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business development or marketing, or similar.
  • 3 or more years of marketing experience (digital and traditional) in a corporate, or agency environment.
  • Proficient in CRM software – HubSpot would be our preference.
  • Advanced knowledge of business development, marketing strategies, and brand expansion.
  • Experience in identifying profitable business opportunities and potential clients.
  • Exceptional ability to analyze market trends and competitor behavior.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook), Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM and CMS software.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Experience using analytics software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Highly organized and meticulous.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
