BUSINESS BANKING OFFICER

PCB SOUTHERN REGION


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

plan, direct or coordinate the promoting of bank services to the customer and prospects; including, but not limited to, developing new commercial deposit relationships; promoting Pendleton Community Bank to referral sources in the community; participating in business development activities outside of the office by making contacts through community networking; developing your reputation as a trusted financial advisor to customers and sources; and resolving customer questions / complaints through direct involvement or coordination with bank employees.


ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Responsible for the growth and management of your commercial deposit services as well as cross-selling other bank products and services.
  • Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with businesses within our geographical footprint as well as recruiting new customers.
  • Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of all banking products.


  • Assist with the installation and training of commercial banking products at customer sites.


  • Ensure compliance with all current and future regulatory requirements.


  • Resolve customer issues regarding sales and service.
  • Present thorough and accurate commercial deposit services presentations to committees or Board as needed.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with all other departments, such as operations and financial centers.


  • Remain constantly aware of the bank's sales culture; actively makes sales referrals and encourages all segments of the market to use the PCB family of financial services.
  • Actively participate in community and civic organizations, as appropriate, to positively reflect the bank and the community.
  • Other duties as may be deemed necessary to support Bank activities.


EDUCATION NEEDED

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of banking experience

SKILLS NEEDED

  • 10+ years of banking or related sales experience (preferred)
  • Possess an understanding of and ability to sell all types of loan and deposit products
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Excellent time management skills and be attentive to detail
  • Willingness to participate in local civic organizations
  • Maintain a valid drivers license and be willing to travel
  • Strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently as well as complete projects using a team approach
