Job Description

Our architectural firm seeks a bookkeeper/office administrator who is well-organized and comfortable dealing with financial data. This individual will oversee the accounts payable and receivable, process payroll, and conduct other finance-related tasks. They should be excellent at recording data and have the ability to produce clear financial reports.
Responsibilities:
  • Track expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts, and other financial dealings of the company.
  • Provide regular financial reports (weekly, monthly, and yearly).
  • Reconcile bank accounts.
  • Maintain project records, client lists, and marketing materials.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure timely processing of payroll.
  • Administer HR tasks like updating insurance deductions, other payroll deductions, and vacation balances.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping.
  • An understanding of business finances and annual business finance requirements.
  • Proficient in standard commercial business bookkeeping practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Working in Word and Excel is a significant part of this position.
  • Knowledge of Sage Accounting software.
  • Administrative or assistant experience.
  • Experience with human resources/benefits.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Detail oriented.
