Auditor
Monday -Friday,8am-5pm
Annual Salary $76,500-$115,000 Depending on experience.
Immediately seeking an experienced auditor for a Fairbanks financial institution.
This position requires comprehensive knowledge of banking procedures and documentation, excellent communication skills both written and verbal and Knowledge and understanding in the application and interpretation of banking and accounting concepts
Duties Include:
- Oversees and administers the audit function of the bank.
- Determines adequacy of internal controls, reviews policies and procedures, verifies existence of assets, income and expense, review reliability of accounting and reporting system, report and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- This position is functionally accountable to the Board of Directors Audit Committee and reports to the President & CEO on administrative matters.
- Incumbent needs to work closely with all department heads in the various functional areas of the bank.
Minimum Experience Needed:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Auditor or equivalent, preferably in a banking environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Must be able to travel out of state for audit training for periods of up to two weeks annually.
- Background/Credit Check will be viewed.
