Roles & Responsibilities:
The Voloudakis lab at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Senior Animal Behavior Scientist with experience in targeted genetic manipulation. The post will suit an ambitious and talented individual who is interested in applying his/her skills at the interface of human disease genetics and animal behavior.
The appointed researcher will be embedded in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians bioinformaticians, statistical geneticists and computational biologists with the goal to jump start the lab’s wet lab efforts and supervise staff while it grows. We are part of the Center for Disease Neurogenomics (CDN) and our group is focused on identifying downstream translational applications of genetic and genomic findings in neuropsychiatric diseases.

Compensation
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $67,648.00 - $101,472.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
