The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor or above based on academic expertise and accomplishment. We are recruiting for an outstanding teacher clinician scholar with outstanding skills to join the Department’s Center for the Study and Prevention of Suicide (CSPS; https://www.urmc.rochester.edu/psychiatry/suicide-prevention.aspx). We are recruiting for a faculty member with adult and child clinical skills, and a scholarly focus on youth suicide prevention, especially in under-resourced environments, low and middle-income countries, and disadvantaged populations. The successful candidate will contribute to the clinical, educational, and research missions in these areas, collaborating with other CSPS investigators, and participating in training and education activities within the CSPS, including investing in the development and diversity of postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty.
