This Associate Advisor position is for someone looking to grow in the industry as you support and partner with a seasoned advisor. You will work to support and deepen relationships with a large existing customer base.

I am looking to bring on someone that will be put into a training program to learn operations, administration, client servicing, client acquisition and retention, and manage social media and marketing. The Associate Advisor is responsible for working with customers to help determine the best way to serve the customers best interest with investment products and financial services Cetera offers. With a strong focus on customer service, growth, and support to the senior advisor. The Advisor should be a true “people person' who enjoys developing professional and mutually beneficial relationships with a wide variety of customers. We will fully support you with an open product platform and resources in the financial industry so you can nurture relationships with customers. Candidates should be self-motivated and driven to exceed expectations in all that they do.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintaining superior and courteous service to promote Cetera and expand customer relationships
  • Exceeding customer expectations in terms of accuracy, efficiency, courtesy, and professionalism
  • Maintain organization and improve ongoing service and practice procedures
  • Including Scheduling via Calendly, Redtail CRM
  • Development of marketing and social media platforms with a focus on increased traffic
  • Campaign management for FMG Website, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Curate creative content through Canva in adherence with broker-dealer compliance and Ad Review policies.
  • Collecting and analyzing information regarding the customer risk tolerance, long- and short-term goals, income, assets, investments, and debts; determining which products best meet the customer needs and circumstances.
  • Advising the customer regarding the advantages, risks, and disadvantages of different investment opportunities
  • Developing internal referral resources to identify existing customers and acquisition of new clients
  • Act as event coordinator for webinars, educational and client appreciation events
  • Understanding and complying with all aspects of Cetera policies and practices, including laws and regulations governing the duties and responsibilities of product sales
  • Maintaining all necessary licenses and registrations as required
  • Successfully completing all mandatory training in a timely manner

What you need to have:

  • FINRA Series 6, 63 and 65
  • State Life & Health Insurance License
  • 3+ years sales, marketing, and business development skills, customer interactions
  • 3+ years of experience with investments, insurance and/or advisory relationships as either Sales Assistant or Registered Representative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional and positive attitude in-person, via phone and virtual via Zoom or other similar platforms
  • Strong time management skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Business or similar field preferred
  • Must want to grow and develop your business, consistently adding to the firm’s assets under management and revenue growth
  • Must pass criminal and credit background checks and maintain a clean U4 with FINRA
  • In good standing in current role, with proven sales techniques and ability to close business

  • Existing client book of business to transition with you

More Details:

Hybrid Work Location

  • Includes Lexington, KY - Cetera Branch office, Louisville, KY - Class Act Credit Union relationship offices and remote capabilities

Pay structure is a 1099 role reporting to the Senior FP focused on growth partner to join practice and future succession plan.

· Base salary provided by senior advisor with implemented bonus structure upon completion of training program

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
