Your role at Sephora... As our Analyst for accounts receivables, you will coordinate sales reconciliations, monitor the collection of outstanding receivables, and build reporting dashboards for the leadership team. You will assist projects to implement new solutions and work with IT to resolve any operational issues. During month end you ensure sales are accurately recorded. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Accounts Receivables and coordinates the work between our IT department and a team of seven subcontractors.

• Sales reconciliations. Work with the offshore team to make sure sales are appropriately reconciled and outstanding balances are collected from our different vendors. Coordinate actions between the offshore team on other departments to resolve urgent matters.

• 
  Month-end. Assist in the preparation of month-end financial entries and review journal entries as needed. Produce reports on the standing of A/R accounts and identify risks and possible corrective actions.

• 
  Projects. We operate in a fast-paced environment where new initiatives are launched regularly. Work with IT on implementing solutions by defining processes, helping during user testing, and producing post-go-live reports.

• Ad-hoc requests. The payment world is constantly changing and requires often ad-hoc analyses to assess the opportunity arising from new solutions or new risks. You will participate as a subject matter expert providing executives with the appropriate insights to make business-driving decisions.

• 2 years of professional experience in Accounting/Finance
• Problem-Solving skills such as the ability to use analytical thoughts to exercise judgment and identify solutions
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail
• Keen aptitude for systems knowledge

The target annual base salary range for this position is $82,000.00 - $92,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
