Elevated Advisory & Accounting is a business financial and operational services firm that started in Whitefish, MT and expanded to Kalispell, MT in 2019. We mainly provide business advisory, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and back-office support to our clients. Our goal is to support other businesses from the ground up and grow with them as they grow. Elevated was founded by Sarah Gould 8 years ago and has expanded to 8 team members in 3 different states. Sarah started the business with a vision to create a work environment where people are empowered to grow and where there is connection and community within the team. Collectively, the team has created agreements with one another focusing on accountability and how they will interact with each other.

About this position:

We love the idea of bringing people up through our company and training them from the ground up. You will learn our systems, project management, and a detailed organization processes. Ideally this position is perfect for someone who has a basic understanding of bookkeeping and payroll, has a nack for numbers, and is hungry to learn more. We will train you up from here and support your growth in knowledge as you work more closely with clients. This is the best way to learn bookkeeping and payroll because you will work with so many different clients and types of businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of payroll and bookkeeping services
  • Beginning knowledge of the payroll process starting with processing payrolls, to quarterly tax returns, and annual wrap up.
  • Accounts Payable process
  • Accounts Receivable process
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Worker’s Compensation Annual Reports
  • Entry of business transactions and beginning knowledge of analyzing books for accuracy
  • Communicate with clients in a professional manner to clarify financial information received and request additional information.

Qualifications:

  • Some payroll and bookkeeping experience preferred, but we are expecting to also train in these areas.
  • Basic understanding of debits and credits.
  • Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online Experience
  • Quickbooks Desktop Payroll Processing a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and G-Suite
  • Ability to work on multiple Companies and gain an overall understanding of each Company's operations.
  • Ability to create detailed work flows and follow tasks accurately
  • Strong work-ethic and "team player" mentality
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
