TDA Research, Inc. is located outside Denver, Colorado with research offices in Wheat Ridge and Golden. We have a staff of 100+ mainly engineers and scientists who develop cutting edge chemical processes, materials, and hardware for customers in the defense, aerospace, energy and chemical industries. Under the supervision of the Controller, this position is responsible for basic bookkeeping and accounting duties. This position is an integral part of the administrative team and helps to ensure that the month-end close process is accurate and efficient. This position will be responsible for journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, preparing monthly financial statements, audit support, and other projects as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monthly reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts
• Create Month End Adjusting Journal Entries
• Assist with maintaining internal controls
• Support AP and AR functions
• Coordinate with Accounting Supervisor to prepare and submit Accounts Receivable invoices
• Assist in audit preparations
• Other duties or special projects as requested

Experience and Education:

• Degree in accounting or finance required
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL project-based accounting software is a plus
• Knowledge of Government Contractor Cost Accounting requirements and understanding of FAR/DFARs requirements is a plus
• Applicant must be a critical thinker, curious, diligent, organized, self-motivated, able to work as part of a team, and ability to handle confidential information
• Excel in a time-sensitive, deadline driven environment with the ability to prioritize and keep a positive outlook
• Detail oriented problem solver
• Superior verbal and written communication skills

Full‐time position; 40 hours per week in office.

Pay Range: $70,000 – $85,0000 per year, with full benefits package and opportunities for advancement.
